The University of Arizona’s Cyber Operations program has received a coveted recognition from the National Security Agency as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). This designation places UA among a select few of only 24 premier cyber programs in the country and attests to the program’s rigorous academic and technical standards.
Do you have to download or install anything?
This ultimately depends on your what is needed for your course work, however most cyber students will need to download and install a VPN package containing your VPN client and profile. After that, most resources are accessible.
Where are all these labs and resources, literally? Is it a local cloud at the University of Arizona?
No, but it's a complex system of systems. The vast majority of resources are in AWS. Hardware-in-the-Loop components on the other hand are components we physically manage at multiple locations
Is there a helpdesk or a support team?
Yes! There is a help desk, staffed by a support team able to assist you if you're new the program or having trouble. CyberApolis has a built in help desk ticketing system that you can access even without logging in.
How is CyberApolis itself managed?
CyberApolis is surprisingly hands off because we've enabled the users. Users have the ability to reset their own systems when needed. There are also self-healing jobs that regularly run. For matters that require escalation beyond the help desk, there is an escalation chain of POCs that includes UArizona staff and developers from Ephibian, our vendor partner.
Who built CyberApolis? Was it cyber students?
The University worked with Ephibian, a woman-owned, small business, headquartered in Tucson, AZ that provides custom software development services to build CyberApolis and its many components. We have worked together almost two decades and they have consistently over delivered.
What if I represent an organization that is interested in using or purchasing CyberApolis, what options do I have?
We would love to hear from you. Please contact us at 520-626-8396 or info@cyberapolis.com. We have other customers of all sizes using CyberApolis, both whitelabeled and in their own stand alone classes.
